জার্মানির অন্যতম স্কলারশিপ হলো ডাড স্কলারশিপ। দ্য জার্মানি একাডেমিক এক্সচেঞ্জ সার্ভিস, যাকে সংক্ষেপে বলা হয় ডাড স্কলারশিপ। মাস্টার্স ও পিএইচডির জন্য এ স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়। এ স্কলারশিপে ১০ থেকে ১৪ মাস মেয়াদি মাস্টার্স বা পিএইচডি করা যায়। এটি প্রথম চালু হয় ১৯২৫ সালে। বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষার্থীরাও এ স্কলারশিপে আবেদন করতে পারেন। এ স্কলারশিপে প্রতিবছর প্রায় দেড় লাখ শিক্ষার্থীকে অর্থায়ন করা হয়ে থাকে।
জার্মান একাডেমিক এক্সচেঞ্জ সার্ভিস স্কলারশিপ প্রোগ্রাম অফার করছে। আগামী ২৮ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশের যোগ্য ও আগ্রহী প্রার্থীরা এ স্কলারশিপের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন

ডিএএডি জার্মানির অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বৃত্তি। জার্মান একাডেমিক এক্সচেঞ্জ সার্ভিসের অর্থায়নে এ বৃত্তি দেওয়া হয়। উন্নয়নশীল দেশের স্নাতকোত্তর বা পিএইচডি শিক্ষার্থীরা আবেদন করতে পারেন। যদিও সব বিষয়ে এ বৃত্তি পাওয়া যায় না।
এদিকে গত বৃহস্পতিবার বাংলাদেশ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মঞ্জুরি কমিশনের চেয়ারম্যান (অতিরিক্ত দায়িত্ব) মুহাম্মদ আলমগীরের সঙ্গে জার্মান একাডেমিক এক্সচেঞ্জ সার্ভিসের (ডাড) তিন সদস্যের প্রতিনিধিদল সৌজন্য সাক্ষাত করে। ডাড পরিচালক কাটজা লাস্চের নেতৃত্বে প্রতিনিধিদলের অন্য দুই সদস্য ছিলেন দিল্লিতে অবস্থিত ডাড রিজিওনাল অফিসের কমিউনিকেশন অ্যান্ড পাবলিক রিলেশনসের জ্যেষ্ঠ উপদেষ্টা অদিতি গোসাভি ও ডাড বাংলাদেশের রিজিওনাল অফিসার মাহমুদুল হাসান সুমন।
কাটজা লাস্চ বলেন, জার্মান একাডেমিক এক্সচেঞ্জ সার্ভিস বিদেশি শিক্ষার্থীদের উচ্চশিক্ষার সুযোগ দিতে বিভিন্ন জার্মান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে অর্থ প্রদান করে থাকে। ইতিমধ্যে একটি স্কলারশিপ প্রোগ্রাম অফার করা হয়েছে। আগামী ২৮ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশের যোগ্য ও আগ্রহী প্রার্থীরা এ স্কলারশিপের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন। তিনি ইউজিসিকে স্কলারশিপের জন্য আবেদন করতে বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষার্থীদের উৎসাহিত করতে অনুরোধ করেন।

সুযোগ-সুবিধা
জার্মানিতে অন্যান্য স্কলারশিপের তুলনায় ডাড-এর সুযোগ-সুবিধা অনেক বেশি। এ স্কলারশিপের জন্য নির্বাচিত শিক্ষার্থীরা যে যে সুযোগ-সুবিধা পান—
*টিউশন ফি ও পরীক্ষার ফি।
*মাসিক ভাতা (পিএইচডি-১২০০ ইউরো, মাস্টার্স-৮৬১ ইউরো)।
*উড়োজাহাজের জন্য টিকিট
*স্বাস্থ্যবিমা
*বাড়িভাড়া এবং পরিবারের সদস্যদের জন্য মাসিক ভাতার ব্যবস্থা
আবেদনের যোগ্যতা
*আবেদনের যোগ্যতা হিসেবে অবশ্যই স্নাতক বা স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি থাকতে হবে:
*নিজ কর্মক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম ২ বছর কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা থাকতে হবে;
*আইইএলটিএসে ন্যূনতম ৬.৫ থাকা জরুরি
*জার্মান ভাষায় পড়তে চাইলে সে ভাষায় ন্যূনতম বি১ পর্যায়ের দক্ষতা প্রয়োজন হবে;
*প্রার্থীকে উন্নয়নশীল দেশের হতে হবে।
- 9. What language skills do I need to apply for a scholarship?
Not all programmes require a general minimum language level for funding applications. Depending on country of origin and scholarship programme, however, certain language skills may be expected. You can find out which requirements these are in the section “Application requirements” and under “Application documents” of the Call for Applications. Please read these requirements thoroughly to find out what applies to your programme and your country.For scholarships in Germany, however, the following generally applies: when you submit your application, you must provide proof of your current proficiency in the language of instruction (German, English, or German and English) in your chosen study programme.Please read question D.5 for more information on the evidence you need to submit.If you are awarded the scholarship, the DAAD can provide an preparatory German language course for you. The DAAD scholarship selection committee will assess whether such a German course is necessary for you and how many months (maximum six) are appropriate. These German courses will enable you to improve your German language skills. However, it is not realistic to reach the level required for university admission within the framework of these courses if you have no or only very limited German language skills by then.
In order to apply for a place at a German higher education institution and thus to start your scholarship, you must also submit proof of your language skills (e.g. DSH or TestDaF if the language of instruction is German; e.g. TOEFL or IELTS if the language of instruction is English). Level C1 is often required;, however, this varies from degree programme to degree programme. Please contact your chosen host university as early as possible to find out about the requirements you need to meet. You can also find more information about the requirements on our website .If you would like to assess your German language skills yourself, you can take the free placement tests of e.g. Deutsche Welle or the Goethe-Institut.The British Council, for example, offers a free placement test for English.
আবেদনপ্রক্রিয়া ও সময়সীমা
আপনাকে প্রথমে ডাড স্কলারশিপের আওতাভুক্ত কোর্স থেকে কোর্স নির্বাচন করে পছন্দ অনুযায়ী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাছাই করে আবেদন করতে হবে। সর্বোচ্চ তিনটি কোর্সে আবেদন করা যায়। এরপর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তাদের শিক্ষার্থীদের নির্বাচন করে। যে কেউ যদি নির্বাচিত হন, তাহলে তাদের ডাড স্কলারশিপে আবেদন করতে বলবে।
