The World Water Council (WWC) is now accepting applications for the Youth Delegate Program (2026–2028 cohort) — an opportunity for passionate young leaders to contribute to shaping the global water agenda.

As part of WWC’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable water governance, this program empowers youth to engage meaningfully in decision-making processes and international discussions on water security and sustainable development.

The selected Youth Delegates will play a key role in the lead-up to the 11th World Water Forum, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027.

About the World Water Council

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Marseille, France, the World Water Council is a multi-stakeholder organization uniting over 260 member institutions from 52 countries. The Council’s mission is to make water a global political priority and to promote sustainable, equitable management of this vital resource.

WWC focuses on three main areas:

Mobilizing political action and hydrodiplomacy to secure access to water and sanitation for all.

Promoting water security by advancing knowledge, finance, and governance solutions.

Organizing the World Water Forum, the largest international event on water, held every three years in collaboration with a host country.

About the WWC Youth Delegate Program
