The content of a scholarship varies per faculty:

  • • Faculty of Arts: Tuition fee waiver + monthly grant towards living expenses
  • • Aarhus BSS: Tuition fee waiver + monthly grant towards living expenses
  • • Faculty of Natural SciencesTuition fee waiver
  • • Faculty of Technical Sciences: Tuition fee waiver

Only non-EU/EEA/Swiss applicants are eligible. Applicants must comply with the university’s general admission requirements and application procedures and deadlines.

Application instructions:

There is no separate application for the scholarship as all applicants will automatically be assessed for scholarships based on their applications. No additional documents are required. The application deadline for most Masters programme study for September 2024 intake is 15 January 2024 for non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens.

How do I document my English language proficiency?

Your level of English language proficiency must be comparable to the Danish upper secondary course ‘English B level’. You can document this with:

  1. A test (TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge English Qualifications) or 
  2. Certain diplomas or certificates from previous studies

You can demonstrate your English language proficiency through one of these three tests (no other tests are accepted):
