Cornell’s Center for Racial Justice and Equitable Futures Seeks Postdoctoral Associate for Interdisciplinary Research on Just Futures

The Center for Racial Justice and Equitable Futures (RJEF) at Cornell University is hiring a Postdoctoral Associate to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of racial justice, equity, and social transformation. This opportunity is designed for an early-career scholar with a strong research background in the humanities or social sciences and a commitment to building a more just world through engaged scholarship.

The selected postdoctoral associate will join a vibrant, university-wide center that connects faculty, students, and community partners to advance systems-level change. Working closely with Drs. Jamila Michener and Neil Lewis, Jr., the associate will contribute to interdisciplinary projects, support data collection and analysis, write policy briefs, and collaborate on community-focused initiatives. There will also be opportunities to organize reading groups, mentor student fellows, and engage with scholars across Cornell’s Ithaca and NYC campuses.

  • $80,000 annual salary plus full Cornell benefits

Required Qualifications:
