Fellowship Opportunity: Think Visegrad Visiting Fellowships 2025

About Think Visegrad: Think Visegrad is a distinguished think tank platform dedicated to fostering structured dialogue on topics of strategic importance to the Visegrad Group—comprising Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. Established in 2012, Think Visegrad collaborates with eight core V4 think tanks, providing key policy recommendations to Visegrad governments, annual presidencies, and the International Visegrad Fund. The platform also offers visiting fellowships to non-V4 experts, enabling collaborative research and policy development.

Fellowship Details: For Summer, Autumn, and Winter of 2025, eight visiting fellowships will be available. Each fellowship allows non-V4 expert fellows to engage with the hosting institute’s activities for a period of up to eight weeks. During this time, fellows will:

  • Develop a policy paper on an agreed topic.
  • Deliver one public presentation.

Selected fellows will receive:

  • A lump sum of €3,000 to cover lodging, transport, and other expenses (taxes and insurance are the fellow’s responsibility).
  • Coverage of international travel costs up to €500.

Research Topics: Fellowships are open for research in areas of political science, international relations, and economics. Applicants are encouraged to align their chosen topics with the specific research focus of their hosting institute.
