This merit-based scholarship is one of Canada’s most prestigious scholarships for international students and covers 50% of your tuition fees annually, renewable for all four years of your studies at Huron (a total value of $92,000 to $116,000 over four years depending on your program) subject to renewal terms and conditions.

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to international students who apply to a Huron University College program. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships at Huron.

Application instructions
Interested candidates in this scholarship programs to study in Canada must follow steps below to submit their applications.
Step 1 – Apply to Huron
Submit an application to a Huron program.
Step 2 – Scholarship application
Log in to your Huron Application Portal account, click on the “Scholarships” section and complete the International Presidential Scholarship Application Form before the deadline. Click here for a guide on how to navigate the portal.
Step 3 – Nomination
During the online application process, you will also be able to submit the email address of the nominee who is nominating you for the scholarship. Your nominee will then receive an email from Huron with instructions to submit their nomination and letter of recommendation (LOR). This must be received by Huron before the deadline.
Step 4 – Interview
Short-listed candidates will be invited to take part in a video interview, as part of the Scholarship application assessment. You will receive an email with further details on this process, if you are short-listed.
Step 5 – Results
Recipients of the International Presidential Scholarship will be notified in March 2024.
