Network Solutions Engineer – Limerick Ireland

A Software-Driven Cloud Network client who specialize in designing & selling network solutions is seeking an experienced ‘Network Engineer’ to join their TAC Operation in the Midwest. The engineer will be responsible for Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switching.

The job –

• You will replicate Customer issues in local and remote labs, escalating cases to the development teams as a result if required.
• You will Front End the relationship between the Engineering/Development and their customers.
• Work on Customer issues in a multivendor environment ie as my client’s equipment connects to their vendor equipment in data centers.

Have you?

• Solid Cisco/Juniper switching, routing and Firewall skills
• Sound knowledge of Linux network operating systems.
• Solid understanding of and practical experience in protocols (EIGRP, IGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP)
• Solid understanding of and practical experience in switching protocols/methodologies
• Minimum CCNP Routing and Switching certification, CCIE would be a desirable
• Experience working with external Telecommunication carriers and Data Centres
