About the Social Innovators Programme & Awards
The Social Innovators Programme & Awards is a year-long fellowship designed to build the capacity of youth-led enterprises across key development areas such as education, agriculture, technology, health, justice, human rights, and community empowerment. Throughout the fellowship cycle, participants receive professional development, mentoring from industry experts, leadership training, and strategic support to help grow sustainable impact models.
The fellowship concludes with the Awards Ceremony, an event recognizing outstanding fellows and inducting a new cohort of innovators. This culminating event highlights excellence, celebrates innovation, and honors the young leaders driving meaningful progress across Africa.

LEAP Africa will host a full-day convening titled “Africa as THE Sector: Maximising Possibilities through Technology, Finance, and Policy.” The event will feature cutting-edge conversations, collaborative solution-building, and celebrations of social impact achievements.
