For the duration of the program you’ll be based in cosmopolitan Berlin. We’ll do everything we can to get you settled, from finding your accommodation, to setting up your bank account and teaching you how to speak German. We’ll even fly you home to see your friends and family.
Over the course of the program you’ll learn valuable theory at our Siemens Professional Education Vocational School, then put it into practice at our training center in Berlin. You’ll also have the opportunity to see engineering in action at one of our most productive manufacturing sites.
We’re looking for talented individuals who want to help us shape the future. If you’re interested in pushing yourself and starting your career with a bang, join us.
Which apprenticeship is for you?
If you’re 18 or over, you could join our Apprenticeship Scheme in either Mechatronics or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Mechatronics
Mechatronics combines mechanical engineering with electronics. With this challenging and rewarding apprenticeship you’ll help install and maintain complex machines, facilities and systems – whilst gaining valuable experience in the construction and machine assembly industry.
A typical career in Siemens after your apprenticeship would be in plant automation, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a plant.
Electrical Engineering
Discover the world of electrical power supply, communication, lighting technology, and information technology. Throughout the apprenticeship you’ll assist in the day-to-day running and installation of complex production lines, while helping to manufacture control gears and power supplies.
This apprenticeship prepares you for a career in power transmission and distribution, in the installation and maintenance of complex production lines or in infrastructure projects.
