Equal Measures 2030 (EM2030) is seeking experienced researchers to conduct a survey on policymakers and policy influencers to better understand how gender data—specifically the SDG Gender Index—is used to inform decision-making and advocacy for gender equality. This research will contribute to shaping EM2030’s 2025–2030 strategic plan and ensure our gender data tools are effectively supporting policymakers in driving change.

Scope of Work
The selected researcher(s) will:

Develop a survey tool to assess policymakers’ engagement with gender data

Conduct key informant interviews with policymakers and influencers
-
Collect and analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities

Provide actionable recommendations to enhance the impact of gender data in policymaking
The final deliverables will include a comprehensive report with findings and strategic insights for EM2030.
Who Should Apply?
