Who Isn’t Eligible
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you:

- Are already holding another University of Sussex scholarship (i.e Chancellor’s Masters Scholarship)
- Are studying one of the Excluded Courses listed below:
Excluded Courses
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:
- Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
- Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
- Courses at IDS
- Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
- Degrees in Social work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
- Online courses
- School direct teaching courses
- Masters funded by the Research Councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)
Application Requirements
- An unconditional or conditional offer for an eligible Master’s course at the University of Sussex.
- A personal statement, written by the applicant, outlining academic achievements, career goals, and motivation for applying.
- Academic transcripts and certificates as part of the university application process.

- Potential for future contribution to the field of study.
- Quality and authenticity of the personal statement.
