Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking for your next challenging role?
Enterprise People are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a leading Kildare based client. Reporting to the Global Infrastructure Manager, the Senior Network Engineer will join our client’s Technical Services team who are responsible for all infrastructure architecture, infrastructure project delivery and network support services.
As the Senior Network Engineer, you will help design, build, implement and support data and voice network systems. This includes planning, configuring, installing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network services including local and wide area network connections, wireless networks, IP Telephony networks, associated software and communication links.
The Senior Network Engineer will have:
A 3rd Level IT Qualification
8+ Years Networking experience
Extensive hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols and standards such as Ethernet, LAN, WAN, MPLS, VOIP, xDSL, TCP/IP, 802.11x
Sound knowledge of network management and analysis tools, including SNMP, WireShark, MRTG, and NetFlow tools such as NetQos Reporter Analyser
Strong working technical knowledge of Cisco network hardware, including switches, routers, wireless access points, IPT, and IPCC systems
Knowledge of Cisco firewalls, remote access systems, intrusion detection systems, and other network security measures
CCNA Certification a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
