MSD UK’s 2025 Grants Programme builds on the success
of its 2024 initiative, continuing to empower organisations that tackle health inequalities through creative and community-driven solutions.
The programme supports healthcare and patient organisations aiming to:
• Address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes.
• Develop innovative healthcare delivery models and public health strategies.
• Engage communities through education, advocacy, and inclusive health campaigns.
Funding Windows
Window 1: March – End of April 2025
• Window 2: July – End of August 2025
Each application window will see the awarding of approximately 8–12 grants.
Who Can Apply?
The grants programme is open to UK-based, legally registered organisations in the following categories:
• Healthcare Organisations (e.g., NHS Trusts, Primary Care Networks)
• Patient Organisations (e.g., not-for-profit groups supporting patients)
Note: Applicants must have additional sources of income—MSD cannot be the sole funder.
Funding Amounts
• Healthcare Organisations: £15,000 – £25,000
• Patient Organisations: £5,000 – £15,000
All funded projects must be non-promotional, UK-based, and completed within 12 months.
2025 Programme Goals

• Projects must reflect lived experiences and community needs.

While the programme is open to all disease areas, priority will be given to projects addressing:
• Oncology: Improving cancer care access and outcomes.
• Public Health: Enhancing vaccine uptake and HIV care.
