About the Opportunity
Location: Belconnen, ACT, Australia
Salary: UC Academic Level C, $138,789 – $159,600 per annum + 17% Super
Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (up to 3 years)

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent, high-impact research and publish in leading journals
- Present findings at national and international conferences
- Collaborate with global experts and diverse stakeholders
- Lead the delivery of externally funded projects
- Supervise and mentor Master’s and PhD students
- Translate scientific research into real-world policy and practice
What We’re Looking For
- A PhD (or equivalent) in environmental modelling, climate/atmospheric modelling, environmental exposure and health risk assessment, environmental epidemiology, life cycle analysis, or a related field
- Strong research experience in environmental health, air pollution, or climate change
- Demonstrated success in securing competitive external research funding
- Excellent project management and teamwork abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to high academic standards
